Being on the sidelines is hard... but can be a good thing too.

I get to see the guys I'm going to be playing against by watching them, instead of playing against them, I get to basically scout everybody that I will play against...

Good luck on your rehab and welcome to Portland. Hopefully we will be able to support you guys next year if we can get Comcast bandits to allow 25% of fans to watch you. I'm a member of the Blazer Boycott, but we still think you guys are great. Hope to watch you and the team soon. Best of luck. Don Brissler

As a rare blazer fan down under i was wrapped at your arrival then crushed by your injury. On a positive the others playin without you so successfully should allow you to introduce yourself without needing to be the messiah you can just make a very good team even better. Looking forward to your arrival on court. Keep smilimg i know everone else is with the thought of you in a blazer kit, keep smiling, Paul Queensland Australia

G.O. Good luck this season in rehab, it's nice to see you are keeping in good spirit. Too bad Comcast took away all the tv games from me, I guess I should join the monopoly... maybe next season I will have better luck. Cant wait to see you play.

I'm sure you know this already, but we're all rooting for you, GO. Take your time and come back healthy - you've got a long and great career ahead of you so there's no need to rush (though we already miss having you out there at times!).

We posed a question on our blog about what pieces of each player, past and present, would make the best Blazer ever. You've been mentioned a few times already! Check out the blog, we're die hard blazer-believers and would make a great addition to the blog roll...

I am actually mostly interested to see if you actually read these? I have been a blazers fan since clyde the glide, and buck williams. (granted im 23 now and I grew up on Blazers). It has been tough seeing the team choke so much, but they are starting to clean up and play well. I know that you will be a strong part of this family.

I have been a Blazers fan since Clyde the glide and Buck williams. The team has choked the last few years but are building back up now. I dont think this is a team of stars, but a family with a good amount of talent that can be played around the court. I can't wait to see you play with the rest of the guys. Do you even see this blog? Thank good luck

Dear Greg,

I was so excited to see you get drafted b y my favorite team in sports. I have been attending Blazers games since I was 7 years old (I am 38)and now my 12 year old son sports the red and black. We go see the blazers play the clippers once a year and will see Boston vs. Blazers in Portland this month with my Father (3 generations of Blazer fan). We live in San Diego, Ca so don't get the luxery of goin to any more games but just know we all are pulling for you and we may not even be in Portland. Have a great rehab and know the inside is yours next year.... I hope you enjoy my hometown and find happiness there. Best Wishes

Hey Greg, I am glad to hear you are doing well with rehab. I am looking forward to watching you play next year. My buddies and I love to wach the Blazers when we can, but living out here in Pendleton makes it hard as we do not get alot of televised games.Tell Brandon I said GO DAWGS.Continue to scout those opponents. Good luck with the rest of your rehab. Larry in Pendleton

What up G-MAN? Man i gotta give it up to you! You got class! Our team is better than ever. I never lost faith but was getting close before roy showed up. Then we landed you and i was extatic! I know your presence on the floor in the '08-'09 season is going to be unbelievable. I have been watching highlights of you at ohio st. and preseason with our blazers trying not to get too down and realize what we have going for our team, state and city. Im tired of the officials picking on priz. With you clogging up that lane and blocking shots, i see us going far in the playoffs. Welcome big guy! -Brad Mack salem, OR

Portland is the absolute weakest market in the NBA. We are treated unfairly and no one does anything. They never get good games on espn. Unless they have won thirteen in a row. Why can't Oregon residents see the blazers on tv????I don't want a reason I want a soultion. Even nba league pass doesn't play portland games.wtf!!!!

We've been waiting a long time for a dominating character like yourself to come along Greg. What's another year or two? The main thing now is heal up right. You've got a long life ahead of you, and not just basketball.

Good luck Greg on your recovery. I am so excited for the big things that will happen next year. With you in the lineup, the team will be even that much better. I watched you on Rome Is Burning and you talked about your Dog. I also watched the video of you and Mike Conley playing Eric Gordon in high school, you are the man!!!! Go Blazers, Rip City is back!!!!
